Class Modifications
This server was largely created because I wanted to create a further end-game experience, and to overhaul more “boring” aspects of the game to make things faster and more appealing to those wanting some nostalgia without the everlasting grind
Commander:
Skills: Bless 2 (buffed) + Virtue 2 (buffed) + Motivation(personal stam buff)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
Paladin:
Skills: Cure Poison + Heavenly Smash(quite a powerful aoe)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
Ranger:
Skills: Ranger’s Insight(increases CR)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
Sword-Dancer:
Skills: Throwing Knives(ranged powerful attack) + Restful Soul (self-buff stamina regen) + Dual wielding(boosts attack rating if there is an off hand
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
Executioner:
Skills: Contact(increases attack rating)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
Unknown:
Skills: Antidote(cures poison in an aoe) + Poison wound + Nullify Yellow + Ambition(a skill that allows you to pick different abilities depending on the amount of gems) + Swords III
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
This class essentially didn’t exist before. On this server the class is a poison based class. It induces + reflects poison well and can be quite a powerhouse in terms of dps once poison sets in
Shaman:
Skills: Nullify Color Defense(makes it so resistance to colors no longer apply) + Alchemy(increases intelligence & allows for certain potion use) + Camoflage (increases ac) + Holy Lightning + Holy Might II(increases max dmg in an aoe) + Process Magic I(allows you to transfer stamina to magic)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
This class is another that did not exist before hand. There is a guide on how to create items within the guild itself. It allows for better potions being built and new ones altogether.Potions for weapons, potions for a boost, or potions for health. You are the Potions Master. This class is a great class to nullify enemies power + tank. An excellent support role but also powerful enough on its own.
Restorer:
Skills: Divine Strike(smaller aoe but still holds some power) + Weapon Enhancer(this skill allows whoever it is cast on to have x3 the max dmg)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
Shadow:
Skills: Dagger Frenzy( small aoe that hits incredibly fast but uses a lot of stamina) + Enable (allows you to use magic for a quick stam boost) + Run(increases Speed) + Shadow Cloud(aoe that applies a toxic fume to enemies dealing dmg over time)
Has a new class specific guild which contains items that only that class can use.
This class now no longer requires strength to use it, I wouldn’t recommend it if you plan to use daggers that is.
Priest:
Skills: Process magic 2(heals magic for stamina) + Chant is upgraded now and does more(increases cr)
Locations Added
Lvl 30-40 dungeon (south of wraith woods towards the beach in some abandoned ruins. Good area for Mages who are that level to train)
Menite Cave is now no longer glitched and now sports the largest cave system in the game(or close to it) It contains a lot of menites including a Menite Legend hidden within
Shadow Island this utilizes the unused island that is just north of Rhallis Dunes in the bottom east corner of the map. This is a high level island that boasts lvls all the way up to almost 200. It contains a few dungeons in the area and the surrounding area. There is an npc to take you around and teleport you(for a cost of couse). The island contains many new monsters + bosses with unique drops that come with them too.
Yicol Bog Island(lvl 150+ area) has a few new dungeons and a few new bosses as well. The area has incredibly powerful monsters by the old Akarra standard. It also contains Aly, who is an NPC that sells the new lvl 175 skills. More about that over here ——>
Grace a new town that exists on an island that can only be accessed via Shadow Island. There is a secret entrance to get there or you can purchase the way in with Salem. Once there you will find there is a couple new shops as well as it opens the player up to the ability to purchase a house(read house rules)
Mechanics Changed
Nolan in Hope is a great place to start to get benefits early on, make sure to accept his quests!
Attack speed has generally been increased
XP rates have been increased
Damage values on almost every single weapon have been changed
Tons of new effects + items + skills added(some that I haven’t seen anywhere else)
The ability to get around the game and teleport have been increased
New quest lines that help you with new teleports + items
Some new skills only require 1 gem to lessen constraints on gem costs
Every single lvl 90 class now has the option to buy + use revitalize(heals stamina). Know that this doesn’t mean you can use it without the proper cast rating + faith requirements, but this will allow for some flexibility in the way that some classes can be played. This is also since there is not an enormous player base and don’t want anyone playing a solo experience to suffer too much.
At level 175 players will gain the ability to use the skills bought from Aly, this will allow for a significant attribute increase which will significantly change the way you play after lvl 175. It opens up a host of different combinations and class setups you can achieve. It is a difficult hill to climb reaching lvl 175 but know that you are rewarded rightfully so.
All monsters lvl 0-115 now have a chance to drop Iwid Shards. This is to take away strain from the battlegrounds grind that was the previous method. As well this allows for the ability to actually craft some of the lower level items before that needed Iwid tablets that didn’t make sense for their level.
Monsters that are lvl 115-149 have a chance to drop an attribute potion of a single kind in it’s place.
Monsters lvl 150 and above will have a chance to drop enhanced potions.
Many potions in general added that are meant to help a solo player or for those looking to take on the more challenging bosses
Light clothing now no longer requires strength (why would you need it?)
Daggers no longer require strength to use(same for these)
